What you can use MailOK for

MailOK checks email addresses. You can upload a list or use the API to check addresses from your own software.

If you have a file to clean before a campaign, start with an upload. Review the results, decide which contacts belong in the send, and carry any exclusions back to your sending platform.

If addresses arrive through a signup form or a recurring import, the API lets you make checking part of that process. The useful moment to catch a typo is while the person who typed it can still correct it.

In either case, you'll need to interpret the results. Some checks are inconclusive. Some addresses need context that only you have, such as whether a shared inbox was deliberately used for an account.

Verification helps identify delivery problems. It cannot establish consent, confirm a person's identity or promise an inbox placement.
